Fernando
Valladares has developed four main lines of
research. Three of them are dealing with basic
aspects of ecology and evolution, while the
fourth one is aimed at solving environmental
problems associated with the construction of
large infrastructures such as roads and railways.
It is presented below a brief description of
each of them with examples from a selection
of the more than one hundred papers published
by FV over the last 20 years.
